Privacy policy
Last updated: October 11, 2026
Kwizzz is a quiz game for Android. This policy explains what personal data we process when you use it, why, and what rights you have.
Data controller
Jose Peso Buendia, based in Spain. For any privacy question, write to jpesob@gmail.com.
What data we process
Your account
You sign in with your Google account. Google gives us your email, your name and an identifier for your Google account. We never receive your Google password or any other data from your account.
Your game progress
Every time you answer a question we store the attempt: which answers you chose, how many were correct, whether you solved it, the language you were playing in and how long you took. We use this to compute your stats and to stop showing you questions you have already solved.
Your sessions
To keep you signed in we store each open session together with the IP address and the device and browser type (user agent) you signed in from.
Technical logs
The server temporarily logs the requests it receives (IP address, date and the page or feature requested) to run the service, find errors and protect it against abuse. These logs rotate automatically and are not kept beyond a few days.
Kwizzz does not show ads, does not use analytics or tracking tools, and does not sell or share your data with anyone.
Why we use it and on what legal basis
We use your data to create and maintain your account, save your progress and provide the game. The legal basis is performing the service you request when you sign up (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Technical logs and session data are also processed based on our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Where it is stored and who else is involved
Data is stored on a server run by Hetzner Online GmbH in Finland, within the European Union, which acts as our hosting provider.
Sign-in is handled by Google, which processes your account data under its own privacy policy.
How long we keep it
For as long as you have a Kwizzz account. Each session is deleted when you sign out in the app. If you delete your account, your account, the link to Google, your sessions and all your progress are deleted immediately and permanently.
Your rights
You can request access to your data, its correction or deletion, restriction of or objection to its processing, and its portability by writing to jpesob@gmail.com. You can delete your account yourself from the app (⋮ menu → "Delete account") or from this page.
If you think we have mishandled your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) or the data protection authority in your country.
Children
Kwizzz is intended for people aged 14 or older. If you are younger, please do not use it. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 14, we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change it, we will publish the new version here with its date. If the change is significant, we will let you know in the app.
